author's notes: Originally when I wrote this story, I couldn't remember if the Maganac with the sunglasses' name was Ahmed or Abdul. So in the early drafts I decided it was Ahmed. Looking over Gundam Wing tapes I discovered I was wrong. I've changed the name accordingly to this fic and to the Even Deeper fic.
This started out as a prequel to my songfic, Even Deeper. But a funny thing happened. It ballooned into a huge story. So huge that putting the lyrics to The Fragile would only make it bigger.
